On 23 October 2020, the Singapore Civil Defence Force amended The Fire Safety Act. Publicly-accessible buildings such as religious premises and industrial buildings that meet a minimum size or occupant load, and buildings used as hospitals, nursing homes, disability homes and worker dormitories will now be required to implement EP measures.
