The Taoist Federation (Singapore) hosted an Interfaith Dinner at Orchid Country Club on the evening of 1 April to celebrate SG60 and the 35th anniversary of the TFS. The evening began with a warm welcome speech by Mr. Tan Thiam Lye BBM(L), President of the Taoist Federation, who expressed gratitude to the government and various stakeholders for their continuous support. Mr. Terence Lee, the first Vice President of the Federation, later delivered a thank-you speech, acknowledging the contributions of all supporters.
In his address, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong commended the Taoist Federation for its dedication to promoting religious harmony, social service, and cultural heritage. He remarked that Singapore’s success is built upon our multicultural unity and inclusivity. The Dinner also featured multicultural performances that showcased Singapore’s diverse cultural heritage.
