On 30 September 2026, the Federation was honoured to welcome Prof Ang Hak Seng, Chairman of ISCA Cares and Programme Advisor for the Financial Stewardship for Charities programme to Lorong Koo Chye Sheng Hong Temple
Prof Ang introduced the programme to leaders and management representatives from various Taoist temples, highlighting how sound financial stewardship can help religious organisations strengthen governance, make better financial decisions, uphold accountability and safeguard the trust of their communities.
Ms Zoey Xie, Chief Operating Officer of ISCA Academy, also shared how busy temple leaders can learn flexibly through the Boardflix platform in just 15 minutes a day. Now available in both Mandarin and English, the programme is part of GovernWell: Excellence in Charity Leadership.
More than 100 charities and not-for-profit organisations have already taken steps towards stronger financial stewardship through the programme. Temples and religious associations interested in strengthening their financial governance are encouraged to learn more and register.
